 Nicholas BentleyNicholas Bentley hails from North Wales and from an early age has pursued his hunger for all things visual studying photography and design at college before enrolling in the Moving Image Design programme at the prestigious Ravensbourne College and graduating with A BA(Hons) degree. On graduating he began a freelance career as an afx motion designer for variety of design studios, working for clients and record labels including MTV, Island Records and EA games. He began to focus more on directing and started working with Atlantic Records new signings – Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly. This was the start of a two year campaign of on the road videos, behind the scenes footage and gig videos aimed at the online community. Having met Luke Leighfield and Sam Isaac on his travels Nicholas has written and directed a series of innovative music videos, which have led to him being short-listed for the 2008 Music Video Awards - Best New Director. |
