Matt Winn, commercials director and independent filmmaker has returned from a stint in LA where he’s been developing independent films, web drama and multiplatform shows (tv, web and mobile)

“Follow The Leader” www.followtheleadertoday.com is a sci-fi web drama about a group of teenagers set in a future American state that has broken away from the federal government after a economic catastrophe. Developed with Impact Pictures (“Resident Evil, Pandorum), this world is now run by a fascist governor, The Leader, who has banned books and music.

His independent bittersweet comedy drama, “January 2nd” starred Ruth Gemmel and Simon Kunz (‘Fever Pitch”, “Matchpoint”) was recently released by Guerilla Films in the UK and received acclaim at numerous international film festivals. (Toronto, Jackson Hole, Houston)

Matt is involved in developing alongside contemporary film drama projects (“Hole In The Soul”, “The Playhouse”) multi-platform web shows and is developing a pilot with the BBC of the highly successful US web show “The Big Debate’ www.thebigdebate.com and a multiplatform medical show, “Which Dr?” with ITV.

Matt Winn is also known as a composer and music producer through his band D*Note which has released six albums through Virgin and Dorado records and is currently working on a seventh.
